    This ebook does something that most maths books i’ve used do not. it can speak to you. every book I get given by my teacher always misses things out, or those things are written at the bottom of the page in tiny font like terms and conditions for understanding the next chapter. This book reads like an understanding teacher rather than a apathetic one. Finally!

    Thanks for the information on the Money Stuff - I really understand it because it is put into its simplest form. Now I’m thinking that I might actually have a chance at getting a good grade in my next maths exam. I really think that this a good website/ebook for learning how to deal with maths when in hard times. I think that this website/ebook is soooo good I’m going to tell my friends about it because i know that some of them would love it and really learn a lot from it in just a couple of minutes like I have. Thank You Granny for bringing it to my attention - you are fantastic!

    On recommendation from a friend, I downloaded book one for my daughter who is 13 and although she works hard at school, maths doesn’t come naturally to her (we are both far more comfortable with arts-based subjects). I agreed to work with her on the exercises. I am quite amazed at how this book has changed my opinion of my own ability to do maths. The first few exercises were a doddle! Working on this together has also bought a healthy dose of competition between us, which again I wasn’t expecting. Is it any good? It’s fun and importantly memorable. It is completely different to any of the ‘key stage’ books she has to work with (thank goodness as they are SO dry). I look forward to finishing book one with her and seeing how well we do. If this course helps us both enjoy maths and saves me cash on any extra tuition for my daughter then I am all for it.

    Actually I found this rather addictive after a while with its innovative approach to giving context to the things that felt rather pointless at school, and its mini tests at the end of each step. I now feel I understand maths much better now it is put in a real world perspective

    I can feel myself getting cleverer - in a useful way - as I go through Money Stuff Steps 1-4. Shirley Conran’s advice is always useful - it does exactly what it says on the tin. And, of course, it all looks nice, which means you can navigate more easily and upload it to your waiting synapses better.

    It's impossible to understate how important this book is for young women - no, make that all women! Money is just the medium, this is really about power. And until all women feel comfortable with and understand the means by which power is transferred in society there can never be true equality. Bravo, Shirley! Superwoman has done it again!

    It is so important for everybody, but especially girls, to have good mathermatical skills. Money Stuff offers a fantastic way of teaching maths so that it is relevant to real life situations. We often young people complain that algebra and fractions cannot be of any use in real life, but Money Stuff uses different scenarios to demonstrate how these things are a necessary part of the everyday.
