This book is all about Adolf HItler and his worst creation, Auschwitz. Auschwitz was a brutal hell hole for Jews, Communists, Homosexuals, Gypsies and Jehovah’s Witnesses. He rose to power when Germany was at its lowest;  in 1939 he attacked Poland and started World War II. He is the most infamous dictator of all time and was responsible for the death of more than 11 million people.

    The writing is repetitive and talks down to the reader rather than respecting the reader's intelligence. I noticed a few errors/omissions in the section regarding Hitler's rise to power. It skips The Night of the Long Knives and the fact the German army swore an oath to Hitler himself after Hindenburg died. The author claims that the Nazis started the Reichstag fire then blamed it on communists, no it was started by a communist, Hitler saw the opportunity to exploit it for his political gain. It says something along the lines of "He removed the word president from German politics", while technically true it would've been more accurate to say the posts of chancellor and President were combined into one office. The author also fails to mention the development of The Final Solution and previous violence against Jews like The Knight of Broken Glass. The e-book ends on Dachau despite it being the first prison camp in Nazi Germany. There were also some grammatical errors. Don't bother reading this, you can find more reliable and accurate information about the Nazis on the Internet for free.

    This is a school history project. Great work for a 15 year old. Shouldn't be on iBooks.

    I was disappointed with this book, so much so I deleted it fairly quickly. It looks like it was written by a school child for a GCSE history class. If you know nothing on the subject this book would be a good introduction however if you wanted a more in depth book this is not the one.
