In creating Willy Loman, his destructively insecure anti-hero, Miller himself defined his aim as being 'to set forth what happens when a man does not have a grip on the forces of life.'

    just finished reading it this morning. sad but beautiful. engaging yet disturbing, somehow entertaining. Amazing how life as a salesman can be rewarding and unforgiving. sad end though but worth every line. enjoy reading it.
